Things to know before moving to Dubai

We all want to be part of an adventurous Dubai life where you can embark upon a journey and find your own self, who knows you would also end up finding your destination which you have been looking for? But before you settle down in the hustling life of Emirates, here are a few things which you must know and keep in mind:

  • Prepare your visa

As you must be aware of the different visa options available out there for visitors to seek advantage of ranging from multiple entry visa Dubai to permanent residence or job visa which would allow you different benefits. So if you will be preparing a move soon, remember you are well aware of all the options and which one is best for you.

  • Alternate weekends

If you are foreigner and have been used to weekends on Saturdays and Sundays then you may have to face a little difficulty while adjusting to the weekends in UAE as Fridays and Saturdays are considered to be the official weekend days. The working week starts from Sunday and ends at Friday. Even though it is going to be a little difficult to get used to but soon you will get a hang of making your plans earlier on Wednesdays for the upcoming Friday.

  • You have to be strict on rules

Even though this doesn’t seem like a very difficult thing to go by but you will be in deep trouble if you don’t pay attention to rules very strictly. City’s rules are something to swear by and you being a foreigner not abiding by the rules can put your visa in danger. Make sure you are following the rules if you would like your stay to be permanent and stress free.

  • Tuesday is ladies night

Even though Dubai is known for its ravishing night life and all for the right reasons but Tuesdays are specifically for ladies only. The bar is open with huge discounts and free drinks for ladies to enjoy their one moment. Even though you can still find your loved one on one of these nights yet you will have to wait for the Tuesday to pass by and you can enjoy the discounts yourself. You will get used to this soon.
